DESCRIPTION

Indications and operation
Vicks Sinex Aloe & Eucalyptus is used topically to relieve the symptoms of nasal congestion associated with the common cold. Vicks Sinex nasal spray will bring you relief from symptoms such as: rhinitis or stuffy nose

HOW TO USE

Dosage
Adults and children over 10 years of age:
1-2 sprays into each nostril no more than 2-3 times a day.
Children aged 6 to 10:
1 spray into each nostril no more than 2-3 times a day.
Children under the age of 6:
do not use.

Contraindications
When not to use Vicks Sinex Aloe & Eucalyptus:

·       if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance, oxymetazoline hydrochloride, or any of the other ingredients of Vicks Sinex Aloe and Eucalyptus (see section 6).

·       if you are taking (or have taken within the last two weeks) monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs are used to treat Parkinson's disease and depression).

·       if you have severe heart disease or shortness of breath due to heart failure.

·       if you have increased pressure in the eye (narrow-angle glaucoma).

·       if you have had your pituitary gland removed.

·       if you have inflammation of the skin or lining of the nostrils or if you have scabs in your nose.

COMPOSITION

·       The active substance is oxymetazoline hydrochloride 5 mg/ml.

·       The other ingredients are : sorbitol, sodium citrate dihydrate, tyloxapol, chlorhexidine digluconate solution, anhydrous citric acid, dry aloe extract, benzalkonium chloride solution, L-menthol, acesulfame potassium, cineol, L-carvone, edetate disodium, sodium hydroxide, purified water.
