Vitamin C is one of the most researched cosmetic and pharmaceutical raw materials, but as L-ascorbic acid, it is unstable and easily deactivated under the influence of light, oxygen and improper pH. and not very stable in aqueous solution, insoluble in oil. That is why the Ziaja company in the cosmetics of this series used a combination of ascorbic acid with a glucose molecule, which is:
- Stable vitamin C in the form of natural glucoside.
- Resistant to oxidizing agents and metal ions.
- It is stable in the product and durable once it has penetrated the skin.
- Gradual release and long lasting activity.

These properties of vitamin C used by Ziaja make it possible to use 5 % vitamin C in dermatological treatment preparations (in the product "Dermatological treatment with vitamin C, Revitalizing Essence" the concentration of 1% vitamin C).
Moisturizing emulsion with active and stable vitamin C is based on:
- enzymatic biotechnology, gradual release of vitamin C,
