After topical application of the cream, the active substance penetrates into the deeper layers of the epidermis. Clotrimazole is effective against many species of dermatophytes and yeasts. It is practically not absorbed from the skin into the bloodstream.
Mycoses of the skin caused by various species of dermatophytes, including mycosis of the groin, hands, feet, mycosis between the fingers, tinea versicolor.
Candidiasis of the skin and mucous membranes of the external genitalia.
The drug applied to the mucous membranes of the external genitalia may damage contraceptives made of latex (condoms, intrauterine rings), it is not recommended to use during treatment with this drug.
Do not use latex contraceptives for at least 5 days after use.
Avoid contact with eyes and mouth.
Clotrimazole may inhibit the action of other topically applied antifungal drugs, especially polyene antibiotics such as nystatin, natamycin. Clotrimazole weakens the therapeutic effect of amphotericin B.
Do not use during the first trimester of pregnancy.

Clotrimazole Ziaja contains cetostearyl alcohol.
The drug may cause a local skin reaction (for example, contact dermatitis).
