How to use the medical device

Oral measurement:
1. Place the measuring tip under the tongue.
2. The measurement takes about 20 seconds, do not open your mouth during this time.

Rectal measurement:
1. Lubricate the measuring tip with a small amount of lubricant.
2. Gently insert the thermometer into the anus to a depth of about 5 - 2 cm.
3. The measurement takes about 10 seconds. Rectal temperature is usually slightly higher, so subtract 0.5°C from this.
